Kiom Maraschiello, a native of New York State, is formally educated in Structural and Mechanical Engineering (Architecture). She is well known for her sense of style, integrity and hard work. Moreover, her sincere passion for Real Estate and great Design shines through in the added value it provides to the lives of those that she serves.

In choosing opportunities with some of Atlanta's premier high-end designer showrooms Kiom acquired a full experience across key areas of the Home Interiors and Furniture industries. This exposure laid the foundation for this, her freelance endeavor, in 2005. Starting with just a few referrals, that endeavor blossomed into a multi-faceted Professional Concierge, Fashion PR and Home Interiors business.

She's a Go-Getter!

Kiom's proactive nature and propensity for leadership afford her success even in areas where she has had no prior experience. A "can do" attitude, no matter the task, solidifies her reputation as the "go to" person that people entrust to realize their objectives.  Some of the best examples of this are shown in the success of many of her disparate freelance projects.

No job is too big or small.

Kiom began by providing personal shopping and interior styling services to bachelors and upwardly mobile professionals new to condo living in Buckhead and Midtown Atlanta. That was the mainstay for her freelance endeavor. This segued into projects as large as the full scale, state-to-state, plant relocation of minority-owned Paper manufacturer, South Coast Paper, from Louisiana to Maplesville, AL., after Hurricane Katrina, along with securing and setting up the owners personal residence and business office in Atlanta, GA. And when a friend from the UK decided to launch her premier fashion collection, Kiom jumped at the chance to serve as its facilitator and Publicist. Kiom edited and released copy announcing the launch, sourced personal local and national contacts for participation, assisted with model castings, set up the venue and attended to every detail in orchestrating a stellar runway showing through to success. That said, check out The Evelyn Lambert Collection!

In addition to these notable achievements, she has published previous works as a Fashion and Beauty contributor with full-service lifestyle publication Hope Today online magazine and as the Downtown Atlanta Frugal Living Examiner with

In 2014 Kiom launched a career in real estate where her experience in service include Luxury Residential Real Estate; New ConstructionREOHUD, Short Sales/Bulk Sales & Acquisitions; as well as, Multi-Family/Multi-Unit Property Management. In 2018 she secured her "place in the world" with technology based real state firm, Compass, a true disruptor for the ages.

In positively impacting the plight of the less fortunate, which is dear to her heart; Kiom engages and supports food rescue and homeless outreach organization Umi Feeds which was created by her dear friend Erica Clahar. Through her service as a volunteer Kiom is further inspired to pursue her lifelong dream of providing viable avenues to Affordable Housing for all. Because of this Kiom introduced Umi Feeds owner/founder to Compass' CEO Robert Reffkin where soon it ranked amongst the volunteer and gift recipients of their Compass Cares initiative.

Dreaming A New Dream.

Alas, the COVID-19 pandemic ended that part of her journey but not easily deterred Kiom remains determined, optimistic and enthusiastic about a future filled with new and emerging opportunities. With this in mind, she recently launched organic/natural "whole" self-care collection, ISSA GLOW UP!  in support of our mental and physical wellbeing. It was created for all of us who may have felt our light dim a bit during these most unprecedented times. Through it Kiom reminds us to stay encouraged, to take care of your whole selves and be determined to thrive! Change is most certainly inevitable and your life may not be what you would have imagined but you can always start again. Dream a new dream. -KM
